I am simply fascinated with all the creative projects that I have been able to do with this great little machine. Really it's a large machine, large and mighty! I actually saw this on a webpage and thought wow I would really love that! Oh I have the perfect spot......then it costs what? Oh dear lord...then I almost fainted. After lettering and cost per various kinds of font's ( pretty ones more expensive) Larger the more costly! Then I remember saying put it on the wish list, hardwood floors are first! Then came Mr R and his awesome wonderful, lovely Christmas present.....the Cricut and then it was over.Mr R now says, do you think that's a bit much or does that really need another number and or letter? LOL! I say never enough, NEVER! It really does need a frame and I have the perfect tutorial Mr R!

BOO!
Learned a lot from this project. First never open the white bottle of paint over your project especially when it's black! Eek! Then it got really ugly! In the end it was a complete and total triumph...I won! Picture is coming..what do you think it is? My new obsession. 1 black laundry marker later and it is almost complete...have to sew just a little! Can't wait to show you the finished project!

The lamp has to go! Love the lamp hate where it is. Really came out just as I had hoped. Found the image on Pinterest and was dying to try it. Found the perfect ugly picture at the flea market a few days ago and just knew this was what it was made for. Sorry you missed the original picture on the canvas...NOT! LOL! La Belle Vita….The Beautiful Life!

Yes it is a beautiful life!…. La Belle Vita. Beauty is everywhere you look, it’s all around us. You have to be able to recreate it in your own way.You have to find what it is you love the most, what makes you happy, what makes you sing! All my life, that has been art, photography, music. I truly adore being a mother and a nurse, but at the end of the day, it is art that is my passion. I am the happiest when I can paint, draw or create something beautiful. There is something that everyone is passionate about or as Emile Zola said it….”If you ask me what I came to do in this world. I, am an artist, will answer you: I came here to live out loud.”
Everything must have a beginning. Each new year brings new hopes and new promises, some which may carry on forever and some which may flicker out like a candle in the wind. I hope for you they carry on forever. I hope that I can write this not only for myself and for my children but for their children to inspire them and give them encouragement to do something that makes them smile, makes them happy, makes them sing just as art does for me.

I have learned that each morning is a beautiful event. We were given yet another day to do as we please. We can do something good or we can waste it and throw it away. Each day presents us with beauty and with art. It is where you find it and then what you do with it that makes it beautiful! All around us the rising sun, the wildlife, the colors in our world that only nature can create, only God has created. We have to appreciate the smallest wonders and the largest miracles to have a creative heart and mind. It’s that easy. Everyone is creative and everyone is an artist in some way or another…so find it and find your passion. Welcome to La Belle Vita. I really hope you find some inspiration here!
